Piotr Korycki is the new CFO at Comarch Group

Comarch, supported by its new owner, CVC Capital Partners, has been working on a new global development strategy over the last few months. Developing its management team is a big part of this effort. Now Piotr Korycki is joining the Comarch Group's management board as CFO.

Piotr Korycki, one of the most experienced managers on the Polish market, will join the management board of the Comarch Group from 1 September. The new vice-president of the management board will replace Konrad Tarański, who has played an important role in building the company's potential in recent years.

As CFO, Piotr Korycki will join the top management team responsible for developing the company's strategy. The focus is on making the best use of Comarch's resources to strengthen its market dominant position in key areas of activity. Piotr Korycki's new role will involve close cooperation with CEO Jarosław Mikos, to whom he will also report.

- The recruitment of such a highly regarded manager, who combines the skills of a CFO with experience in managing large teams, gives us confidence that the finance management area will effectively support Comarch’s development plan,’ says Jarosław Mikos, President of the Management Board of the Comarch Group. ‘I am delighted that Piotr has accepted our offer and now we will build Comarch’s position as a global IT leader together, adds the CEO.

For over a decade, Piotr Korycki has been one of the leading managers in the field of strategy and financial management on the Polish market. From 2021 to 2024, he served as President of the Management Board of Polpharma Biologics S.A. Previously, for nearly 20 years, he was associated with TVN S.A., where he held the position of CFO and COO from 2012 to 2018, and from 2018 to 2021 as President of the Management Board and CEO. He began his professional career as a manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Poland, specializing in technology, telecommunications and media.

- I am joining the company which is a European leader in the IT industry and wants to be one of the champions on the global software and IT systems market. This indicates the importance of stability but also securing funds for investments in Comarch’s financial management,’ says the new CFO. ‘Looking at the company's current potential, I am confident that the company can successfully achieve its global ambitions, adds Piotr Korycki, the new member of the company's management board.

The current CFO, Konrad Tarański, who has decided to end his cooperation with Comarch, will support the onboarding of the new Vice President of the Management Board until the end of November.

Both Comarch CEO Jarosław Mikos and Krzysztof Krawczyk, partner at CVC Capital Partners, praised Konrad Tarański for his enormous contribution to Comarch's stable growth over many years and his significant role in building the company's history.
