Comarch and elipsLife Celebrate Go-Live of New Core Insurance Platform

Hoofddorp, the Netherlands - May 12, 2025 - Comarch and elipsLife Netherlands are proud to announce the successful go-live of the new core insurance platform designed and developed for elipsLife Netherlands to manage employee benefits for the group life insurance business. Representatives from both companies gathered at elipsLife’s offices in Hoofddorp for a celebration that marks this important milestone in the digital transformation journey of elipsLife and its integration into Swiss Life Global Solutions’ ecosystem.
The ambitious project, initiated in October 2022, has successfully developed and deployed a cutting-edge end-to-end core system that supports contracts administration, claims management, finance, and accounting processes. It is integrated with a dozen of other systems, including a CRM platform, a reserve calculation tool, and tax reporting for claims payments. Additionally, it connects with key systems in the Netherlands, such as the Dutch pensions registry (Mijnpensioenoverzicht), the national Berichtenbox for communication, and the Dutch National Person Registration (BRP).
Over 100 employees from Swiss Life Global Solutions, elipsLife Netherlands, and Comarch contributed their expertise across multiple disciplines. Comarch mobilized a dedicated team of analysts, developers, testers, system engineers, and UX/UI designers, supported by consulting, infrastructure, and legal teams to ensure a seamless delivery. The solution is hosted on Comarch’s Data Center, ensuring reliable performance and data protection.

The new system replaces elipsLife’s previous solution and brings substantial process enhancements, such as higher automation levels, reduced time for handling claims, and improved security. Users have already appreciated the updated interface for its intuitive layout, quicker response time, and overall ease of use.

During the celebration, teams commemorated months of hard work, collaboration, and innovation with a first transaction in the new system, followed by speeches, cake, and a festive toast. A group photo of the elipsLife and Comarch teams captured the spirit of partnership that defined the project.
This milestone is not the end of the journey. With the go-live marking the completion of Phase 1, both teams are now entering the hypercare phase to support business users and swiftly resolve any incidents. Phase 2 of the project — already underway — will deliver further enhancements, with plans for Phase 3 and future deployments in other markets, including Italy.
